Fundrasing And Charity for Poor
At Khesed Foundation Inc., we believe that true empowerment comes from providing individuals with the tools and opportunities they need to build a better future. Our mission is rooted in the idea that hope is not just an emotion, but a catalyst for action. By offering support in education, healthcare, and economic development, we aim to uplift the lives of those facing poverty, enabling them to break free from the cycles of despair and insecurity.
In commemoration of World Food Day, the Concerned Neighbour Foundation carried out a door-to-door food distribution program in Delta State, reaching about 300 residents in rural and underserved areas. The initiative, aimed at alleviating the severe economic hardship and widespread hunger affecting Nigerians, provided essential food packs containing 5 kg of rice, cooking ingredients, and condiments to vulnerable individuals, especially women, widows, and those living in urban slums. Mr. F. Ogb., President of the Foundation, emphasized that this initiative is part of their broader effort to combat hunger and support the most marginalized communities. Led by Mrs. Chinyere Ota and supported by Josephine U., this was the third edition of the food distribution program for the year, with a focus on mitigating the devastating effects of food insecurity in impoverished neighborhoods.
