KHESSED Foundation is dedicated to transforming lives across Africa by addressing critical challenges such as hunger, poverty, lack of education, and poor healthcare. Through practical interventions like food distribution, educational development, capacity-building, and healthcare support, we aim to empower underserved communities and promote sustainable development. Our focus on peace-building and conflict resolution further ensures that our initiatives foster harmony and cooperation within diverse populations. By partnering with local organizations and communities, we strive to provide a brighter, more self-sufficient future for Africa’s most vulnerable.

World Food Day: NGO Distributes Free Food Packs

In commemoration of World Food Day, the Concerned Neighbour Foundation carried out a door-to-door food distribution program in Delta State, reaching about 300 residents in rural and underserved areas. The initiative, aimed at alleviating the severe economic hardship and widespread hunger affecting Nigerians, provided essential food packs containing 5 kg of rice, cooking ingredients, and condiments to vulnerable individuals, especially women, widows, and those living in urban slums. Mr.Felix Obegha, President of the Foundation, emphasized that this initiative is part of their broader effort to combat hunger and support the most marginalized communities. Led by Mrs. Chinyere Ota and supported by Josephine U., this was the third edition of the food distribution program for the year, with a focus on mitigating the devastating effects of food insecurity in impoverished neighborhoods.
